Are you waiting for an answer to your question?
Why don’t I have a job yet?
Why am I sad?
Why can’t I pay my bills?
Why don’t people talk to me more?
When will I feel better?
How will I finish my goal?
Who will care for me?
Every day we ask ourselves, others, or God questions like these, wondering what do I do?
Is your life cluttered? I don’t just mean with things, no really consider your day. What do you do when you first wake up? Do you expect an answer then? What do you do when you’re eating by yourself? What about when you come home from work? Are you listening?
Is your day a collection of things lying about in an untidy mass?
I challenge you, right now. Find a pen and paper and set an alarm for 10 minutes. What you do with that 10 minutes is up to you, but I challenge you to reduce clutter in that time as much as possible. Limit the noise, light, stimulation and just listen for this time, expect answers to your questions.
If you find that this was profound for you, do it again! If you didn’t find this was profound for you, do it again anyway!
How much of our lives are filled with clutter and we just don’t see how much it weighs us down?
